300 mums Trained

40+ Employer Partners

Reduced fee project

Case Study: Service transformation programme.

The Women’s Work Lab are a Bristol based CIC helping unemployed mums on benefits back to work through their intensive training programme and employer placements.

The Challenge

They have been approached by employers to recruit WWL mums and wanted to assess the viability of an ‘employer talent matching’ service, to provide more employment opportunities for their mums and gain a new source of fee revenue, to fund more mums through their programme.

What we did

We ran an engagement survey with employment partners and completed extensive research into the recruitment/talent matching options and fee revenue options for WWL. We held employer focus groups and 1-2-1 interviews with employers to assess the viability of the various options. All of this research and engagement was brought together into a detailed report and recommendations for WWL to create the concept new service.

Workwell PCS provided a significantly reduced fee for the WWL CIC project in support of the ‘society’ pillar of our ethos.

“It is a total pleasure to work with Workwell on the Women's Work Lab talent matching scoping project. Both Kristal and Debs are incredibly knowledgeable on all things people and have been both creative and strategic in their approach to the work. We have no doubt their insights will be really useful as we continue to shape this work. They are also both really lovely people!”
Rachel Mostyn, Co-Founder Women's Work Lab.
